Shoot the gray barrels to blow them up when there is a group of zombies around them. This is useful when you become overwhelmed. However do not get to close to the explosion or you will also get harmed or killed.

You can spend money to upgrade your current gun or save to purchase a new gun. Purchase a couple upgrades for your starting handgun, then save money to purchase a new gun. Guns you obtain later in the game have a passive money multiplier, allowing you to earn money faster.

Headshots will instantly kill a zombie, no matter what gun being used. They will also earn bonus points at the end of a run. Consider aiming down the sights of your gun to zoom in slightly and steady your aim.

Complete the extra objectives to earn achievements to get money as a reward.

While Dan activates beacons (little terminals with the green lights) his stamina will decrease. When his stamina is gone, he must recharge it. When this happens, his movement speed will be very slow.
