Press the "shop" button (Purple button) and during this process of loading press your ipad or iphone hardware button so you get out of the game and see the main screen. Now after 10 seconds reload your game and you will see the shop screen still loading. Now cancel this process by pressing the red button and re-enter with the purple button... Now everything is free.
