Swipe left or right to have your character roll out of an incoming attack. It is faster and usually more effective than blocking. Be careful not to roll back too far or you will end up in the dark fog.

Your health very slowly regenerates over time. And we mean slowly. You can block and switch to a defensive playstyle to get health back if Estus Flasks are not available.

Collect little yellow orbs to gain souls and score some points. Shinier orbs are worth more points. Collect the yellow Estus Flasks to restore your health.

Use the following actions to do the corresponding move.

Swipe left or right: Roll in the desired direction or dodge enemy attacks.
Swipe up: Jump.
Tap and hold: Block.
Tap: Attack.

The following spells are available.

Great Fireball: Shoots a fireball in a straight line in front of your character.
Great Heal: A shining ray of light that restores all your health.
Magic Shield: Create a blue radiant shield that confers temporary invincibility.

You can find hidden weapons to make your character more powerful and have a longer range. Weapons are usually hidden on higher paths and occasionally on platforms.
