Diamonds are precious currency, and you can use them for Tech Cards and Perks. It's possible to use the Make it Rain perk to receive the same amount of income you would in the course of a normal 24 hours of play. If you take advantage of that perk, do it when it will do you the most good. Make sure you're businesses are generating maximum revenue or at least at a very high level.
