If your Keep falls, you will lose the battle and your resources. Ensure you base layout focuses your defense on the Keep. Moats cannot be taken down or passed. Place them logically to funnel your enemy to areas where they can be taken down easier. Note that their long ranged units can shoot over moats. Build your Keep in the center of your base, then place other buildings around it to serve as decoys. The more decoy buildings that enemy troops have to destroy before reaching your true Keep, the better.
Diamonds
You can earn diamonds by completing offers, earning achievements, staying active in your Empire, winning Empire wars, and removing debris from your base. Connect to Face book to earn 30 diamonds. Connect with friends on Facebook to earn 25 diamonds for each friend. Remain active and win battles to increase your rank. The higher your rank, the more diamonds you get. You will be awarded 2,500 diamonds for reaching the Top Grandmaster rank. Save your diamonds to get a third worker. Having three workers on your base is more efficient than purchasing an Essence Mill to increase its production.
Empire Wars
After joining an Empire, you can participate in Wars. After an Empire War begins, five different areas will appear at the war screen. Each area is defended by some Empires from the opposing alliance. Your own empire is randomly placed in one of those areas. When you attack and win, you will earn Conquest Points. The team with the most Conquest Points at the end of each round wins the zone, and points for their empire. After three rounds, the team with most points wins the Empire War. You must select the zone you will attack each round. Examine the bases defending the zone (noting the skulls beneath each zone) to decide which one will result in the most points. Coordinate your strategy with your empire. Attack zones evenly and do not focus too many players at one area. Attack the zone with the best bonus. Each zone has a different bonus, as follows. The Center Zone is important because it doubles the points in the first round and adds extra value in the coming rounds. The Top Zone and the Left Zone are the next most important, and the Right Zone is good if you are facing a strong empire.
Bottom Zone: For each zone the enemy controls, you earn +1 Conquest Point per victory.
Center zone: Extra Victory Point for each Zone you control at the end of the round.
Left zone: Start with +15 mana with every war attack.
Right Zone: 40% of the conquest in zones you did not win carries over to next round
Top Zone: Every player's first win in a zone earns an +15 Conquest Points.
Essence
Use Essence to speed up tasks, especially to wake up Titans for an attack.
Resources
Upgrade Stone Quarries to get enough material to upgrade your buildings and to remove obstacles from the land. Use an all Titan party to destroy low level bases for extra resources.
Titan types
Apollo has good speed, health and base damage. His skills are based on rarity, especially at Epic. Captain's Mark will increase Apollo's damage to all enemies by 25% for six seconds. His starting skills, Dawn Blade and Sweep, are also very useful. Havok is fast and has great damage, but slightly less health. His starting Blood Rage skill increases damage. His Legendary skill Berserking will increase his damage even more. Tiny & Crank can absorb lots of damage, but is slow and outputs low damage. His skills become more useful with Epic and Legendary rank. Tokin has low health, speed and damage, but is able to heal troops. His Epic skill Mellow Vibes will heal nearby troops automatically. Gadget has good health and damage, and decent speed. She is a ranged unit, and has skills that prevent enemies from attacking.
Titanite
Use Titanite to level up Titans. Equip items on them to increase their stats and skills. Focus on passive skills first because they do not require extra points in battles to be used. You can get extra Titanite by converting unneeded Titans. Besides using it to level up existing Titans, you can use the Titanite to craft your own Titans. However, this requires very large amounts.
Titans
After you have reached at least level 10 with your main Titans and you have the time, create two sets of Titans to use for attacks. Because Titans require rest time after attacking, you can use your other set to continue. Consider teaming Havok and Tokin, with Apollo or Gadget. Keep Havok and Tokin in battle at all times and use Gadget instead of Apollo when a ranged unit will give you an advantage.
