Bones
Bones or Wolf's Bane can be used to show an item you cannot find. However, they are expensive and difficult to obtain. Save them for use during very difficult scenes, such as the final star of the game or when you must keep building the combo meter.
Combos
Do not tap an item as soon as its found. Instead, use some time to find all or most of the items. Then, begin tapping them to get combos to increase your final score and earn stars faster.
