At the title screen, hold Right on controller 2 and press Start on controller 1.
View Horse Stats
During the game, in the stables, select any horse from the left part of the field. Then on the info screen hold Right + B on Controller 2 and press A on Controller 1 to see all numerical parameters of the selected horse.
