At the title screen press A, B, Right, Down, Left, Up, Right, B, A on the second controller. See, Top Rider normally requires a special controller. However, using this code should let you use a standard NES/Famicom controller.

TONBURI	Activates the black-and-white mode.
YATUHASI	Activates the slowdown mode.
