Earn gold medals in all three levels in Dedede's Drum Dash.
"Goal Game": 30 lives
Get 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 (in order) in a single run. You will hear a retro version of the Kirby Dance song and the UFO will drop 30 extra lives with the message "SPECIAL BONUS 30UP".
Alternate title screen
Complete Story mode. After the credits end, the Dreamstalk on the title screen will have pink flowers.
Complete Dededetour to unlock King Dedede at the title screen.
Finish the game with a 100% completion to show Kirby running up along the Dreamstalk with the Hyper Nova power.
Blooming Flowers on the Title Screen
After Clearing Story Mode and watching the Credits, each time you go to the Title Screen, the Dreamstalk will now have Pink Flowers blossoming on it.
Copy Ability Testing Room
After Beating Story Mode, defeating the Final Boss of Royal Road, and watching the Credits, the next you enter Story Mode, the game will show a message saying that you've unlocked the "Copy Ability Testing Room". While Kirby is near "Fine Fields" on the World Map, press down to enter the "Copy Ability Testing Room". The "Copy Ability Testing Room" is an area filled with rooms that have all of the game's Copy Abilities. There is also a Metal Waddle Dee and some tiny Star Blocks that Kirby can use to practice his Copy Ability. You can also come here to grab a particular Copy Ability, leave using the Warp Star, and keep it so that you use it for certain Stages.
Dedede Tour! mode
Complete Story mode by finishing Royal Road Stage 6 and defeating the final Boss. This mode allows you to play as King Dedede in time attack battles against mini-Bosses.
Defeating the first form of Soul of Sectonia
Soul of Sectonia in her form that is attached to the Dreamstalk typically pauses after every attack. To easily (but slowly) defeat her, use the Stone ability. During the brief pauses when Sectonia does not attack, use Heavy Smash near the small flowers with eyes. After you fall to the ground, stay in stone form and wait for Sectonia to finish attacking, then repeat the Heavy Smash on the flowers. Do not try to attack her when she is attacking; any risk-taking could cost life.
Distant Traveler
Get gold medals on all three of the other levels in Dedede's Drum Dash.
EX Stages
Collect all of the Sun Stones in each area.
HAL Testing Room
Defeat the Gigant Edge mini-Boss in the Royal Road 1-1 level. Then move to the far right and fly up to find a path made of stars. Follow it until it ends then look up to see a crescent moon. Fly up to the moon and press Up to enter its opening. You are now in a secret testing room that has the HAL logo made from blocks, an enemy, and several ability options. Destroying the blocks will reward you with extra lives.
Jukebox
After you've beaten Dedede Tour, you'll unlock the Jukebox option in the main menu. It lets you listen to all the music tracks found in the game.
Keychain
After collecting all 100 Sun Stones from both the regular and extra stages, you are rewarded with a rare keychain for your efforts.

As you collect more Keychains, you'll gain new ranks on your Save File.

New Game Modes
After Clearing Story Mode and watching the Credits, you will unlock new Game Modes on the Menu. The Arena is a Mode where Kirby fights against the Mini Bosses from Story Mode in a row. Dedede Tour is a Time Attack where you play as King Dedede in the Stages from Story Mode, with harder versions (called DX/Deluxe) of Mini Bosses.
