When coming to a tight corner, it is best to drift your vehicle weather in Flight mode or Drive mode. Drifting will temporarily stop the clock.
Character stickers
Select a character at the selection screen that has 0 experience points. Win a race as that character to unlock their sticker.

Complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding license.

A-Class License
Complete a majority of at least one chapter on Hard.
B-Class License
Complete a majority of at least one chapter on Medium.
C-Class License
Complete a majority of at least one chapter on Easy.
S-Class License
Complete a majority of at least one chapter on Expert.
Metal Sonic Bonus Pack
From the main menu, go to "Extras", then "Game Add-Ons", then "Access Code", and finally "Enter Code". Open the game case to find an access code insert on the left. Enter the code to unlock Metal Sonic, Outrun Bay and a bonus pack of stickers for your license. Note: This code is unique and can only be used once.
Play as Mii
Complete both normal Grand Prix and mirror Grand Prix to play as your Mii character.
Reverse shooting
Hold Circle Pad Down then hold L for about two seconds to launch items behind you while accelerating in the race. This works on any item except for the All-Star, Blow Fish, Boost, and Hot Rod.
