Playthrough Strategy Tips

Tip 1: When seeing a recipe in the build menu, hover the cursor over the icon for the item to be developed and you should get a brief descriptions. Hover over the icon at the right side and you will get other helpful details, such as sell rate and active ingredients.

Tip 2: Intend on making roadways that are at least 2 lanes large, and think about offering structures an additional space in between the roadway and the door. Carts can not go through each other, and will sit at the front (or side) of a building, possibly obstructing traffic and triggering a mess.

Tip 3: Go through the suggestions that appear at launch. That's where you can find instructions on moving units around, setting your hotbar keys, and so on.

Tip 4: Upgrading your base opens dishes, increases the variety of stock slots in the base, and increases the capability of each stock slot. (Example-- at a level 5 base, you have 5 rows of 4 slots, each of which can hold 600 units.).

Tip 5: Type "m" to get the move tool. You can use this to get an employee & place it any place you want. This is specifically beneficial for moving carts all the way throughout your map, clearing traffic congestion, or just getting an employee unstuck in between another employee and its only path out of a dead end.

Tip 6: You can pick which things your farm harvests. If you wish to just produce something, go in and ensure it is the only "dish" inspected. You will desire to de-select the "Auto-manage" box. When you might want to output a single type of item onto a chute, this is beneficial early in the game.

Tip 7: The game will let you plant trees (once you build the box for them) in the area covered by a farm, you will not be able to gather them. This consists of fruit trees, which need to be collected by a "forester" building.

Tip 8: A forestry building needs red coins to collect regular trees, however not fruit trees.

Tip 9: Water and fertilizer just impact the re-growth of crops on farms, not the harvest rate. You can increase the harvest rate by including employees to your farm. (Click the building, then use the "+" button).

Tip 10: You can place farms close together and overlap their locations.

Tip 11: You can produce Fertilizer using its own dish at a pasture, do not bother. It is a spin-off of the majority of the other alternatives and you will have plenty.

Tip 12: Even if the fertilizer storage is complete at a pasture, other items do not stop production. The dish for wool produces fertilizer. If you're not using your fertilizer rapidly enough, you will still create wool.
