Blinking is similar to a teleporting shot. A shot will teleport when a creature is close to your orb and a normal shot from a tower in range will not hit it. The shot will "blink" to the creature. Start the "F1" map and eliminate all the starting gems. Place the highest level gem you can make in a position just in range of your orb while still covering the track. Kill all but one of the creeps. Select the gem to move it, but instead just hold it. It will not fire, but will instantly fire when you put it back in the same tower. Allow the remaining creep to repeatedly get to your orb. His banishment cost will increase each time he gets banished. Allow this to continue until his next banishment will kill you. When he is close enough to your orb that a shot from you gem will not reach him (before he reaches the orb), place the gem in the same tower. A shot will fire from your gem. When the creep hits your orb, it will "blink" to him. On "F1", this will result in an easy kill.
Easy "Artisan Trapper" and "Green Vial" Achievement
Kills by other means, even if triggered by gems, will disqualify you. To do this easily, reach a reasonable wizard level and have enough mana to build a few traps. Start the F1 level without traits then build a few traps along the monsters' path. Use only orange and a few purple gems. The lowest gem level should be enough. Some monsters may get banished once or twice, however it should not destroy the orb because the monsters do not consume too much mana. Note: By using only poison gems in the traps on the level F1 level, you easily earn "Green Vial".
Easy "Getting Serious" Achievement
Get the Beam enhancement from the tome chamber in level D4. Begin a level you are familiar with that features multiple enemies (swarmlings recommended). Build your usual starting set, however near the start of the level, construct a tower with a level 1 gem. Once the Beam enhancement loads, summon several waves at once and attach the Beam enhancement to the level 1 starter gem. This will set up massive hit combos. If you have enough creatures appear at the same time, those combos can result in 300 to 500 at a time. You will need to use the beam enhancement more than once on your first level gem. The gem will not kill anything by itself. You must complete the level to earn "Getting Serious", which is why your normal base should be set up first.
