Complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding aircraft. Note: For the aircraft that require the Rookie difficulty setting, simply complete the mission. For the aircraft that require the Pilot and Ace difficulty settings, you must also complete the bonus objective of that mission. Unlocked aircraft can be used in Multi-player and Campaign modes, however Axis planes can only be used in missions that you have already completed.

If you open Options, then controls, you can't find the list for the controls (throttle up/down, turn etc.). To access the configuration, simply go to Options-->Controls-->Press END button on your keyboard.
