Start up Homeworld classic and enter into the Tutorial. The key is to play it through to the end - that means defeating all waves of enemies before you quit. The announcer will let you know when you've defeated all the waves and you must then leave the tutorial manually. Achievement may not pop until you exit the game completely after doing the above.
