In the Intro level when you play as Xander in the training room, you pick up the battle axe. When you complete the level, Xander says something like "Forces of Darkness: nothing, Xander Harris: still alive. But noe Anya or Tara, which means the basement." He raises the axe and it looks like the axe goes into his face.
