The flowering cactoid on normal surcumstances is your 3rd hunt the flowering cactoid is hard to beat unless at a high level the best way to defeat it is to have 2 party members , you if you know fire magic cast fire on it this will do 90- 100 damage. when the cactoid almost dies it will try and use an attack called 1000 needle's the attack will kill the player it hit's instantly so be ready... use protect alot and it's about impossible to kill all the nearby enemies so just kill them when they join the cactoid you should only encounter about 5 of em 2 regular cactoid's and 2 wolves... possibly a cockatrice or 2 but they are much weaker than your enemy so attack them first... use protect, cure and blinda to help your self also try to blind the cactoid at least try 2wice and other than that kick butt.
