When you start a game, likenesses of Hideo Kojima (creator of Metal Gear) and Shigeru Miyamoto (Super Mario creator) will be riding snakes. This is an injoke because the two collaborated on the GameCube version of Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes.
