In career mode (free-roam) you can challenge other racers to an outrun race, before you press up on the directional pad to start the race you can make the other car lose control. First find a car to challenge, then try to spin them out,while they are just starting to spin you press the up button on the directional pad to start the race. you leave them in the dust every time and it is an easy 100$.
