To be able to play the hidden two-player games you must first beat the normal game on any difficulty level. Getting bronze silver or gold in the missions is not necessary to unlock the two-player missions on the Bonus Missions Screen. Unfortunately once unlocked in you must still get gold in every level of the normal game to play the bonus level.
