These robots look identical to the loot crates you open in the menu. They are usually found in the corner of buildings and shooting them will reward you with gear.
Cosmetic Items
Whenever you level up you will earn 1 Apex Pack and one of the rewards inside will be Crafting Metals which you can use to unlock new cosmetic items such as Legend skins, Banners, Quips, Trackers, and Finishers.
Exchange Intel
Take advantage of the Smart Comms to communicate with your teammates and exchange intel. This includes calling out the location of extra weapons and armour, tagging nearby enemies, and marking ideal drop locations.
Jump Towers
Use Jump Towers whenever they are available. These large towers with balloons up top are a great way to get around the map as you can zipline to the top and launch off to reactivate your rocket.
New Hot Zones
Make sure every time the circle changes size you remember to check your map for new Hot Zones, as a new one will always become available.
Play as a Team
It is important that your squad sticks together and plays as a team. Players who go off on their own will soon realise they are easy pickings for teams that are actively working together.
Stick Together
Make sure when you dive you stay close to your squad by sticking with the Jumpmaster if you are not in control. There is nothing worse than starting the game separated from your squad.
Switch Armour
It is better to swap out the armour for another set instead of trying to heal during a firefight using the shield batteries.
