There is a secret pommel in the game which now can be found after good guys deciphered runes on the map from the limited edition of God of War. In order to find the handle you need to get access to the Muspelheim Tower (the south one on the lake) and to position Kratos in the middle of the floor circle.

Now you need to position the camera straight and to do the following:

Look at the Tyr's Temple > left brazier > Temple > right brazier > left brazier.

If done right you will hear a gong sound. But you need to continue with the following:

Look at the Temple > down > right brazier > left brazier > Temple.

After that you will hear the second gong and you will see a realm tear in front of you where you can pick the pommel.

It is not the very best one in the game but it boosts all of your stats and can be pretty handy for some time. You will also get a purple wave attack at the end of R1 combo.
