To safely win Gold in a Master Tournament you need minimum 79 points. Which means 3 x 1st and 1x 2nd at worst. If you are 2x first and 2x second and the best COM also has 2x first and 2x second, you both have 78 points and the COM will get gold. In these twelve tournaments i only won one without 79 points. (Iceland with 77 points). But in all other tournaments the best COM was always close.
