One easy way to change your Sim's Mood is to buy a tea brewer. Different kinds of tea will inspire different positive emotions for your Sims.

While playing the game, press L1 + L2 + R1 + R2 to display the console window. Then, enter of the following codes to activate. Note: Some of these codes first require the "testingcheats true" code to be enabled. Additionally, enabling cheats prevents trophies from becoming unlocked.

At the Sanctuary Springs neighborhood go to the Desert Bloom lot in the and follow the path to the canyon to the Mine Cavern. Along the rock walls of the canyon is a little pond that feeds a superficial stream. Fish at the pond till you get the Cow Plant seed and go back to your home lot, open your stock/inventory, and drag the seed to where you wish to grow it. Once grown, water it daily till it is fully grown. It requires to be watered if the dirt at the base of plant turns light brown. You should feed the Cow Plant meat to keep it alive once completely grown.

Use one of the following methods to obtain the rare Voodoo Doll item. Note: The Voodoo Doll requires Level 1 Mischief skill to use, and increasing the skill level for Mischief will give your Sim better results with the Voodoo Doll.

Hunting for Treasure: Keep digging for treasure to eventually find the Voodoo Doll. To dig, travel to public spaces around the neighborhood. Search for piles of rock deposits, and use a shovel to interact. You will find randomly generated items and treasure maps to unlock collectible MySims statues.

Rare Pond Fishing: Travel to the Desert Bloom lot in Oasis Springs, then move toward the public space behind the park where there is a rock canyon leading to a boarded up cave entrance. Along the rock walls are tiny ponds that you can fish in. Keep fishing in the ponds until you obtain the Voodoo Doll.

To grow the special Cow Plant, you must first acquire a rare Cow Plant seed. They can be found by traveling to the Desert Bloom lot in Oasis Springs, then move toward the public space behind the park where there is a rock canyon leading to a boarded up cave entrance. Along the rock walls are tiny ponds that are the source of the shallow stream. Fish at this area to eventually get a Cow Plant seed. Once you have a Cow Plant seed, return to your Sim's home lot. Drag the seed from your inventory onto the ground where you want to plant it. Once it is planted, make sure to water it daily, and eventually it will grow to full size. If the mound of dirt at the base turns light brown, it means the soil is dry and needs watering. A fully grown Cow Plant is a dangerous creature. They generate rejuvenating milk after eating Sims that are fooled by their false cake tongues. Additionally, make sure to keep feeding your Cow Plant meat when it is fully grown or else it may die. The Cow Plant was first introduced in The Sims 2.

Sims take care of their own Needs when possible (unless they're Babies or Toddlers). However, taking over for your Sim is a good way to manage their time, and to lower Needs before they become a problem.

Make sure that your Sim handles any low Needs before they go to work or school, or before they go to bed for the night. Some Needs will be taken care of when they are outside your control, but not all of them!

The key to keeping your Sim's Needs in the green is time management and, ideally, solving multiple problems at once. For example, having your Sim eat a meal while hanging out with another Sim will increase their Hunger and Social Needs simultaneously. You can also solve a Need while working on a Whim, Aspiration, or Career: Taking a Thoughtful Shower, for instance, will increase Hygiene and cause your Sim to become Inspired, which you might need to complete a new painting.

Some objects can be infused with an Aura that will automatically change a Sim's Mood when they are near it. Turn these Auras on to give your Sims a quick, passive change to their Mood.

A Sim's personality can influence their Moods. For example, a Sim who is "Neat" will be upset when they are near something unclean, while a Sim who loves the outdoors will become Tense if they are inside for too long.
