Successfully complete all seven levels and defeat the final Boss to unlock the "Super Hardcore mode" option at the main menu. In this mode, you will have access to any characters unlocked in Normal mode. However, each a Super Time Force member dies, they will remain dead until you have "saved" through their original unlocking process.

Complete the indicated task to unlock the corresponding character.

Character	How to unlock
Cleo	In 199X, catch up to her.
Commander Repeatski	Start the final mission.
Da Vinci	Collect 100% of the Glorbs.
Dolphin Lundgren	In 9,600 BC, reach the waterfall with the falling logs. Ride the logs down instead of moving up, then jump to the bottom right corner of the area to find a door. Shoot it open and kill the enemy inside.
Jef Leppard	In 198X, search for his cage behind a large gate. An enemy robot will drop down. Quickly defeat the robot before it kills Jef to save him.
Lou Don Jim	In 3072, blow open the vent cover and enter the hallway. While avoiding the fires, look for a breakable floor. Destroy the panel, followed by a second panel to find Lou.
Melanie Gibson	In 199X, enter the pit at the base of the large tower in the far right of the area and kill the creatures before Melanie is lowered into them.
Merlin	In 673, reach the point where the path under a large spiked gates splits into an underground cavern then quickly go down and kill the executioner before he kills Merlin.
Pyro	Collect 25% of the Glorbs.
Re-Bot	Collect all the Shards.
Saxton Hale	Collect 25% of the Shards.
Squirty Harry	Collect 50% of the Shards.
Stash	Collect 50% of the Glorbs.
The Looker	Complete all Looker Time Trial challenges.
Zackasaurus	In 1,000,000 BC, you will encounter Zack tagging dino eggs before reaching the Boss. Defeat the killer dinosaurs to save Zack.
Zoey	Collect 10% of the Glorbs.

Complete the following tasks to unlock PlayStation 4 trophy rewards.

3 Birds 1 Stone (Bronze)	Kill 3 enemies with a single charged shot from Aimy McKillin.
9600 BC Completed! (Bronze)	Complete the Ancient Atlantis time zone.
All of the Glorbs (Gold)	Collect all Glorbs in the game.
Asplosion (Bronze)	Use Jef's highly explosive rocket launcher to explode 15 enemies on a single level.
Baby's First Glorb (Bronze)	Get your first Glorb Badge.
Decked Out (Gold)	Complete all HellaDeck Levels.
Defense is the new Offense (Bronze)	Beat any level using only Shieldy Blockerson.
Don't Stop Believing (Bronze)	Team up the character from Journey... with the character from Journey.
Gotta Save Them All! (Silver)	Complete any level without leaving any saveable team members behind.
Head Banger (Bronze)	Kill any enemy by bouncing on its head, plumber-style.
Hella Fun (Bronze)	Complete 5 HellaDeck levels.
Here's Your Order (Bronze)	Destroy 4 enemies with a single blast of Sir Galahad's Arc Rifle.
I Challenge You to a Duel (Bronze)	Complete a Medieval level using only Lou Don Jim.
Impartiality (Bronze)	Complete any level using at least 6 different members of the Super Time Force.
Infinity (Gold)	Defeat Dr. Infinity.
Number One Shard (Bronze)	Get your first Shard badge.
OMG You Sharded! (Gold)	Shatter or collect all shards in the game.
Range of Fire (Bronze)	Fire 7 different charged attacks in a single level.
Something Smells Rank (Silver)	Achieve your first STF rank on any level.
Speed Freak (Silver)	Complete any level with 30 seconds remaining on the clock.
THE HARDEST OF CORE (Gold)	Complete Super Hardcore Mode.
TIME to go Outside (Platinum)	Earn EVERY Trophy in Super Time Force Ultra.
Talent Scout (Bronze)	Add a new team member to the Super Time Force.
Team Player (Silver)	Prevent the deaths of 50 members of the Super Time Force.
That Was Quick (Bronze)	Die within 3 seconds of spawning.
The Boss Beats A Boss (Bronze)	Defeat a boss using only President of Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios Shuhei Yoshida.
The Runs (Silver)	Complete a... clean... run of any level using only Squirty Harry.
They Are Looking (Silver)	This ones totally a secret but you'll know it when you see it so hustle and look sharp.
Whole Lotta Lead (Bronze)	Fire 5000 rounds with Jean Rambois' machine gun.
Year 199X Completed! (Bronze)	Complete the Post-Apocalypse time zone.
Year 3072 Completed! (Bronze)	Complete the Future City time zone.
Year 673 Completed! (Bronze)	Complete the Medieval time zone.
