Highlight the Random Select icon at the Character Select screen, and press both the L & R buttons 5 times, holding them down on the 5th time. Then hit all three punches, and the Soul Stealer will appear behind your character. If you win, the Soul Stealer will move to the defeated character and possess him, and you will fight the next match as the character you just defeated.
