This option first appears in the single player menu, after you have completed the single player campaign. New Game + will allow you to carry over your unlocked weapons, each upgrade you've unlocked, and any unused Grey Tech cubes you have found.

After completing this single player campaign, this difficulty become available when you start a new game.

Complete the following tasks to unlock PlayStation Vita trophy rewards.

Conversion Tower (Bronze)	Successfully complete level 6.
Customize (Gold)	Upgrade all weapons in the Single Player Campaign.
Dangerous (Bronze)	Kill 250 Chimera in the Single Player Campaign.
Deadly (Silver)	Kill 500 Chimera in the Single Player Campaign.
Ellis Island (Bronze)	Successfully complete level 4.
Executed (Silver)	Kill an Executioner.
George Washington Bridge (Bronze)	Successfully complete level 3.
Giant (Gold)	Kill any combination of 18 Impalers or Executioners.
Impaled (Silver)	Kill an Impaler.
Incite (Gold)	Complete one round of multiplayer.
Indiscriminate (Bronze)	Kill an enemy with every weapon in the Single Player Campaign.
Lethal (Gold)	Kill 1000 Chimera in the Single Player Campaign.
Military Ocean Terminal (Bronze)	Successfully complete level 2.
Overheat (Silver)	Kill 50 Chimera by detonating their heatstacks in the Single Player Campaign.
Platinum (Platinum)	Earn all trophies.
Protection Camp (Bronze)	Successfully complete level 5.
Staten Island (Bronze)	Successfully complete level 1.
Upgrade (Bronze)	Upgrade a weapon in the Single Player Campaign.
Variety (Bronze)	Use the secondary fire of each weapon in the Single Player Campaign.
