This isn't exactly a cheat, it's an in-game trick. When you use your Dragon tokens, you become immortal until they run out. So as a hint, save your dragon tokens until the near end and end bosses. Then use them to gain spurts of immortality. I saved mine until near the end. The most I had was 784 dragon tokens, without buying them.
