Use a grub as your lure and try to attract a bass to it with at least 10m of line out. Attract the fish until you have about 9 or 10m of line out. Reel the lure in quickly till there is about 5.8 to 6.4m of line out. The bass should bite every time while it is still yet close to the boat which will decrease your chances of it getting away.
