Tip 1: Any shamaz can heal you to full health but you don't have to sit and wait while they channel you can run off and even start conversations but still get healed. If anything interrupts his channeling such as a fight or threatening him he will have to start over.

Tip 2: USE THE MINI-MAP! The full map is also really really handy finding any particular talan you're searching for.

Tip 3: The HK-P12 and UZA-SH1 are your primary go to weapons effective for the entire game. During the early game you can go to Talanzaar and find the first two or so weapon traders when going along the right side you can find the first upgrade for the HK-P12 and get the UZA-SH1. It's a good idea to get both before finishing Shamazaar.

Tip 4: Read up on what the items do or you'll never use them. Not that you need to. The hologram is arguably the most useful.

Tip 5: If you need to heal and aren't next to a shamaz you likely have way more med-kits than you'll ever need so might as well top off.

Tip 6: Personally one of the first things I did was turn off the auto-targeting. Plays much closer to the original and feels a lot better with a mouse. They did improve the projectile size and hit detection from the original so there are more opportunities for hard shots.

Complete the following achievements to unlock Microsoft Gamerscore points.

Boom! (15 points)	Use dynamite on a chest.
Build up your social network (15 points)	Talk to 25 important Talans.
Building a good reputation (15 points)	Achieve the highest level of reputation by helping the Talans.
Can't wait to use this (15 points)	Obtain over 300 rounds for your HK-P12.
Daokas (15 points)	Travel 10 times through Daokas.
Defeat soldiers for Zot (15 points)	Defeat more soldiers to convince Zot to stop paying taxes.
Doesn't sound like a Gorgor! (15 points)	Kill the beast in the water behind the temple of Ka.
Feeding my UZA-SH1 (15 points)	Fill your backpack with over 250 rounds for your UZA-SH1.
Gamor Arena (15 points)	Kill all the gamors in the Okaar arena.
Gamors defeated! (15 points)	Kill the gamors far to the east of the village.
Got another one! (90 points)	Obtain the Mon in Okasankaar.
Hey, Doc! (15 points)	Find Shamaz Zeb and speak to him.
Ilott healed (15 points)	Find a Shamaz and convince him to heal Ilott.
Jan's stealth test! (15 points)	Complete the stealth tutorial in Ranzaar with Jan.
Krakits (15 points)	Kill 25 Krakits.
Maar will be happy! (15 points)	Defeat at least 20 soldiers for Maar.
May the Yods be Silent! (30 points)	Defeat 250 soldiers.
Motazaar (30 points)	Reach the region of Motazaar.
Okaar (30 points)	Reach the region of Okaar.
Okasankaar (30 points)	Reach the region of Okasankaar.
Organ puzzle (15 points)	Complete the organ puzzle in Okaar.
Ready to leave Ranzaar! (15 points)	Complete all four tests with Jan.
Rift bridge down! (15 points)	Damage the rift bridge to slow the soldiers down.
Sadar problem solved (15 points)	Help Sadar fix his boat using a Zeedog plant.
Shamaz Keb Freed! (90 points)	Set Shamaz Keb free.
