When a bloater appears, equip a gun and shoot it in the stomach. It will explode in one hit, leaving a cloud of toxic gas. Do not get in contact with the gas. Do not run them over or your car will be enveloped in the gas cloud and slowly kill you. If this happens, immediately get out of the car.
