Easy "A walk in the park" Achievement

Challenge rooms are denoted by a red spike platform icon on the map. They are full of traps that require timing and platform skills. There is only have one door leading in, and they contain a treasure chest at the end. Progress through the room and open the chest at the end to earn "A walk in the park".

Easy "Do you want to know more?" Achievement

On the first floor of the dungeon, secret rooms are indicated by a cracked wall where a door normally would be found. Shoot the cracked wall until it breaks open to enter the secret room. You must then approach the stained glass window at the rear of the secret room to trigger a short cinematic that describes a previous game developed by Milkstone.

Easy "Easy peasy" Achievement

Play as the novice class, and just restart until the portal key and the boss room are very close to the starter room. Hope for the Gunkarr the Crusher boss and just keep baiting him into his jump attack. Some quick jumps and you'll have this achievement - took me an hour.

Easy "It's a trap!" Achievement

Keep opening mystery boxes until you trigger a trap.

Easy "Karmic Justice" Achievement

Defeat the Boss on floor 1-4. Do not enter the portal that leads to the next floor. Instead, remain on that floor and kill yourself with grenades or by jumping in spikes or lava.

Explore a floor and find a challenge room, danger room, or a room with an environmental hazard or trap. Kill the Boss, but do not go through the portal. Instead, return to the previously discovered room and die to the trap or hazard.

Easy "Master of Magic" Achievement

Have the Wand, Spell Book, Staff, and Alchemic Item weapon slots filled at the same time.

Easy "Ouch!" Achievement

Danger rooms are denoted by a yellow spike plate icon the map. They are full of traps and usually have doors on every wall. Die in one of their traps to earn "Ouch!".

Easy "Relieve the pain" Achievement

Some weapons and spells cause elemental statuses, such as being poisoned, slowed, or frozen. When under such an effect, the enemy will display an effect, such as glowing green when poisoned or being covered in ice when frozen. Any enemy that dies during one of these effects will qualify for "Relieve the pain". To farm this, find a Serpent Staff. It has a 100% chance to inflict the poison status upon a hit. Progress until you encounter the shaman Boss or random shaman enemies. Shamans can summon extra enemies indefinitely, especially carrots. Hit a carrot with a single bolt from the staff will usually leave it poisoned until it dies shortly afterwards. Continue killing carrots spawned by shaman in this manner until "Relieve the pain" is earned.

Easy "So close!" Achievement

Lose to the final Boss on floor 5.

Easy "Unstoppable" Achievement

I would strongly recommend using Corvus for this. He starts with a very high amount of HP, a wand that's fairly powerful against smaller enemies and the ability to regain health from knowledge gems. This ability is extreme useful on Hard, as the rate at which you lose HP is slow enough that it won't really be an issue. Corvus also encourages a very aggressive playstyle, given his tanky nature. Please note that he does not benefit as much from potions as other characters do. I would also recommend re-rolling until you start out with either a homing spell (But not Skull of Xanathos, preferably something with more spread.) or a powerful staff. You should then ideally try to buff these as much as possible. You will want to gather as much XP on each floor as possible. Both to get as many perks as possible and to keep your health up. In my experience, it's nearly impossible to defeat the last boss without an amulet that buffs the rate of fire for your primary weapon, like the Amazon Amulet for staves. During the fight, you want to focus on getting as much damage done early on as possible. Pop your amulet and fire away before the boss starts summoning minions. Once he does that, you essentially have two options:

If you've gotten some speed upgrades, you can try to ignore his summons and focus on him. You will probably still have to deal with any ranged enemies though. Especially demons.

Dispatch his summons and damage the boss only when there is nothing around him that might hurt you. In this case, you should brace yourself for a long fight with a lot of ducking and dodging.
