After the cinematics, you will play as the Gaia Colossus dashing through Dark Gaia with the correct button. Dodge or smash the rocks to reach Dark Gaia and get closer. He will shoot a laser after awhile. When he is about to shoot, guard and move to a side to dodge it. You will get hit at least two times. You will then go into a "quick thinking" phase were you have to press the correct buttons. If done correctly, Dark Gaia will get a hold of you and you will play as Sonic. As you go through the Colossus, you will have to press the correct buttons to hit Dark Gaia's big eyes. You will have to repeat this all two more times, then stage gets harder. After you are done, you will enter the Super Sonic stage, where you will start to fly towards Perfect Dark Gaia. When you get near the Force Shield, Chip will enter the shield in the Colossus. You will then have to hit the snakes outside of the shield as their heads leave it. As you hit the snakes, Dark Gaia will attack. Avoid the rocks and lasers he shoots. After you knock out all the snakes, the shield will drop. Then Dark Gaia will grab the Gaia Colossus. You will now have to press the correct buttons to save him using Super Sonic. After you free the Gaia Colossus, Dark Gaia will shoot a laser at it. You will have to press a particular button a certain number of times to block it. If done correctly, Super Sonic will fly towards Dark Gaia's middle eye. You can use [Boost] while flying there if desired. When it is over, your grade will be based on how fast you did it.

Go to Chun-Nan and enter the Gaia gates, then go up the rocks on the right side. Then do you see that line of rings there? Well press the Y button and you will use the light dash on them. Wait 8 seconds and then they will reappear. Either boost to the rocks again and start over or jump and at the right time quickly press the Y button to go through them again. This is way better then tracking down Wentos and buying 99 hero sandwiches.

In order to unlock the hub world for Eggmanland, you must defeat the final boss and beat the game.

On the first level there is a big round thing that you run around. When you run towards it turn right, push X and double jump. You should flying around in the air.

Go to the end of a level and find the goal ring, don't quite go in it yet. What you want to do is get a run up, and then press start and restart level just before you touch the goal ring. As the level starts up, you should hear a goal ring sound. This means you've done it correctly. If not, you haven't correctly timed it. On the level's results, it should have the time 00:00:00 when you view it in the world map/entrance stage. This helps with the achievements that require you to beat the level under a certain time limit (such as blue meteor which requires you to beat Windmill Isle Day Act 2 in under 2:35 or Speeding Ticket which requires you to beat Arid Sands Day Act 1 in under 2:50 which can be a heavy pain. P.S. I'm not sure if this glitch works with Night Stages as I haven't been able to get it to work with Sonic the Werehog.

During the playing of any Aptos Level (daytime only) go to any place there is no light (a shadow) and stay there for a while about a minute or so, then when you come out, there will be dark shade of black on you, like Shadows fur, but you will still have Sonics controls.

If you go up to pretty much any wall/door as a werehog, pressing X Y Y for the combo, followed by shielding, will let you pass through the wall.
